We received some great feedback from Rapid City Medical Center last week. See what they had to say about the meaningful use support we provided.
We have been working with Rapid City Medical Center for a few years and recently completed a Security Risk Assessment (SRA) with them. Additionally, our team assisted them during their recent meaningful use audit.
Here is what Darrel Riddle, CEO at Rapid City Medical Center, had to say about working with us:
My staff and I have used HealthPOINT as a resource for meaningful use guidance since the beginning. Most recently we worked with them during a meaningful use audit. Their guidance and support was invaluable and certainly lessened the stress of the audit. They are incredibly well informed on the subject matter of meaningful use, full of helpful suggestions and even offered a little mental health counseling when needed.
Keys to Successful Meaningful Use Audits
The key to meaningful use audits is to document all work being done toward meeting the criteria including:
- who performed and is involved in the work
- what the timeframe of the work is
- the results or progress of work as it is at the time of the audit
Attesting to meaningful use is not something that you will want to try to generate or create documentation for after the fact. Get in the habit of documenting what you do and ensuring it meets the requirements as described in the objectives. Keep all meaningful use reports and documentation used to attest.
